A rooster just standing on the side of the road…
As you drive from Trezevant, toward Bradford on TN-105, you come around a corner and may see something peeking over the top of the corn…
What is that?
If you guessed a giant fiberglass rooster, you’d be right!
I’ve heard that the owner was once a wrestler and this was his mascot. I’ve also heard it was once the mascot of a fried-chicken restaurant.
Does anyone know the story behind this giant fiberglass beast? What’s the tale?

That thing used to be on top of a car-wash in Bradford! Can you guess the name of the car-wash? …. Rooster’s!
That’s the name of the owner too (wrestling name obviously). Rooster Griffin…. I can remember when he wrestled Jerry Lawler in the Bradford gymnasium! Yeah, Jerry the King Lawler in little old Bradford… whoodathunkit?!

I LOVE fried chicken.
